A father’s hands are nice to hold
whenever you are scared or cold.
They’re reassuring, firm and strong;
they gently guide young lives along…
A father’s hands are freely giving,
working hard to a make a living.
Around the house and yard they lend
their skill to build, fix up and tend…

A father’s hands support and teach
and put new worlds within your reach.
Blessed is the child who understands
The love that comes from a father’s hands.
